While controlling our borders is important, this administration is not following the law and is harassing people based on skin color. This administration promised to rid our country of the "worst of the worst", but in Utah ICE is arresting hard working people.
I am opposed to the inhumane treatment (lack of good housing, food, and medical care) of immigrants. I am opposed to the lack of due process offered to these immigrants, and I am especially opposed to separating families--particularly separating father's from their children.
You have appropriated far too much money for the operations taking place. These operations are bad for business and bad for our communities. We need these workers. ICE is traumatizing children and families for no reason except to perpetrate a fear campaign against Hispanic people.
Please come to your senses and stop the senseless mistakes that are being made by releasing ICE officers on the street without sufficient training. There must be a better way to accomplish your goals.
